Free, accurate home price data for every U.S. city — no sign-up required.
AverageHomePrice.com provides free, up-to-date median home price data for cities and towns across the United States. Our goal is simple: give buyers, sellers, renters, and researchers instant access to real housing market data without paywalls, sign-up forms, or cluttered interfaces.
Every page shows the current median home value, year-over-year price change, a multi-year trend, affordability estimates, and how each city compares to the national median — all in one clean, easy-to-read page.
All home price data comes from Zillow's Home Value Index (ZHVI), a publicly available dataset published monthly by Zillow Research. ZHVI measures the typical home value for a given region across the middle tier of the market (33rd–67th percentile).
We use the city-level ZHVI file, which covers over 21,000 cities and towns across all 50 states. Data is updated monthly as Zillow publishes new figures.

The monthly payment and income estimates shown on each city page are calculated using standard mortgage math:
These are estimates only. Actual rates, tax rates, and costs vary by location and individual financial situation. Always consult a licensed mortgage professional for guidance specific to your circumstances.
